- What does Module 2 cost?

- What does recurring monitoring cost?
- Tier 1 Light: EUR 699/mo (1 AI system). Tier 2 Operational: EUR 1,999/mo (up to 5 AI systems). Tier 3 Audit-Ready: EUR 5,999/mo (up to 10 AI systems + a dedicated account manager). Annual prepayment: 2 months free (16.7% discount).
- What is the difference between Module 1 and Module 2?
- Module 1 (EUR 1,499) delivers the customer's internal AI evidence: AI inventory + Article 4 register + role-based controls memo + gap analysis. Module 2 (EUR 3,499) delivers the customer's external evidence: a structured answer library for the AI part of enterprise procurement questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ, AI Act-derived).
- Should I choose Module 1 or Module 2 first?
- Module 1 first if you need to document EU AI Act Article 4 compliance internally yourself. Module 2 first if you already have enterprise customers asking for AI procurement evidence in Word/Excel format. Many buy both — Module 1 + Module 2 = a full AI Act evidence pack.
EU AI Act compliance
- When does EU AI Act Article 4 (AI literacy) apply?
- Article 4 has applied since 2 February 2025 — the application date is unchanged. Providers and deployers must take measures to support the development of AI literacy of their staff and other persons dealing with the operation and use of AI systems on their behalf, under Article 4 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744. The duty does not require guaranteeing a specific level of competence in each individual.
- When does EU AI Act Article 50 (transparency disclosure) apply?
- Article 50 has applied since 2 August 2026. AI systems that interact with users (chatbots, deepfakes, AI-generated content) must disclose that AI is involved.
- When do the Annex III high-risk obligations apply?
- The Annex III obligations apply from 2 December 2027 under Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 (Digital Omnibus). The regulation has been published in the Official Journal and has entered into force. It postpones the Annex III stand-alone high-risk deployer obligations by 16 months because of a shortage of notified-body capacity. Article 50 (transparency) is not affected, and the application date of Article 4 remains 2 February 2025 — but the wording of Article 4 itself was rewritten by the same regulation into a best-efforts obligation.
- Is recruitment AI high-risk under the EU AI Act?
- Yes. Annex III point 4(a) (AI systems for recruitment and selection of candidates) and point 4(b) (evaluation and monitoring of employees) are classified as high-risk. The obligations under Art. 16 (provider) and Art. 26 (deployer) apply.
- Is employee-monitoring AI high-risk?
- Yes, if it goes beyond neutral time tracking. Annex III point 4(b): AI systems that monitor employee performance, behaviour or emotional state are high-risk.
- What does Article 4 AI literacy mean in practice?
- Article 4 requires AI providers and AI deployers to 'take measures to support the development of AI literacy of their staff' (as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744), taking into account the staff's technical knowledge, experience, education and training and the context in which the AI systems are used.
Company + geography
- Where is PowerQuant based?
- PowerQuant ApS is registered in Horsens, Denmark. CVR 46274067. The CEO and CTO are both based in Denmark.
- Where is customer data processed?
- Customer data and deliverables are hosted in the EU (Hetzner DE compute, Supabase EU database, Cloudflare EU edge CDN). Language-model inference and a few operational tools are outside the EU under SCCs (Module 2) — see the sub-processor list at /trust/sub-processors.
- What is the Schrems II + CLOUD Act mitigation?
- Customer data and deliverables are hosted in the EU (Hetzner DE, Supabase EU). AI drafts are generated with Anthropic Claude (USA, SCC) from the customer's AI inventory; the evidence documents themselves are rendered deterministically from templates, and a named person (Alexander Englund) reviews and signs before delivery. Language-model inference runs under SCC Module 2; Gemini is used internally only. See /trust/sub-processors.
- Is PowerQuant a law firm?
- No. PowerQuant is a technical documentation provider. We quote EU legal text verbatim and deliver compiled evidence. For legal interpretation or litigation we refer you to a specialised IT/AI law firm.
- Is PowerQuant a notified body?
- No. We cannot issue AI Act conformity certificates ourselves. We deliver evidence packs that notified bodies (or the customer's own review) can use.
Technology + deliverables
- What does Ed25519 signing of deliverables mean?
- Every production deliverable is signed with Ed25519 (a Curve25519-based signature algorithm, the same mathematics SSH uses). The public key is published at /.well-known/powerquant.pub. The customer can verify locally in the browser via /verify/{hash}.
- What does 'source-cited per claim' mean?
- Every number, date, article reference and terminological choice in a PowerQuant deliverable refers back to publicly available EU legal text (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 = AI Act) or national law (Danish Act no. 434 of 6 May 2025, the NIS2 transposition). The customer's own auditor can look up the original.
- Which deliverable formats does PowerQuant provide?
- Module 1: PDF (PDF/A-4 archival) + JSON + Markdown. Module 2: Word (.docx) + Excel (.xlsx) + Notion import templates + Confluence import templates. Recurring tiers: a weekly regulatory digest, a monthly PMM (post-market monitoring) report and a quarterly Annex IV update; the deliverables are available on /minside.
- Does PowerQuant use Vanta or OneTrust?
- No. We use our own evidence pipeline with Ed25519 signing + source citation. Vanta/OneTrust do compliance tracking; we produce compliance evidence (PowerQuant's outputs can be imported into Vanta/OneTrust).
